Creative Expressions Center offers educational, motivational, entrepreneurial workshops to schools, community and youth organizations. Participants learn unique principles and techniques that help them make decisions that encourage self awareness, self control, and life long successes.

Up With Fitness!
Grades 3 – 8
Exercise doesn’t have to be boring or time consuming. This energetic workshop incorporates
physical activity and education involving stress retraining, body image, changing food preferences,
and fitness training unlike anything participants have ever experienced! Participants will learn
movements and techniques they can practice throughout the day, every day to help stay focused
and “energized.”
All About Acting
Grades 3 – 8
Participants learn acting and improvisational techniques while having fun with music, props and games.
They will also have the opportunity to create their own one act plays.
Project Runway
Grades 3 – 8
Participants will learn from professional models, photographers, makeup artists and actors.
They will also have the opportunity to create their own personal portfolio, plan a fashion show and audition with confidence.
Puppets Tell the Story
Grades 1 – 4
Participants have the opportunity to handcraft their own puppet creations while learning how to use
them on stage in their own puppet production.
Dance Fever
Grades 1 – 8
Participants (or family members) learn traditional dance styles while sharing the newest dance styles
with one another. They incorporate their steps with music to
create their own dance performance.
Faces of Compassion
Grades 4 – 8
This project involves students using photography and journalism skills to illustrate compassion.
This project functions as an awareness building experience for students to discover compassion in their lives and in their community. “Faces of Compassion” helps build assets among students who lack strong community connections, social competencies, positive values, positive identities, boundaries and expectations.
