Creative Expressions Center
is a non-profit, creative arts program that encourages creativity and healthy life choices for young people. Creative Expressions is an opportunity to use the arts as a way of engaging youth in life. Involvement in the arts builds confidence and self-esteem which encourages young people to find positive solutions to life’s challenges.

Creative Expressions Center offers the opportunity to explore many aspects of creative arts including:

Acting	Vocal Skills
Stage Production	Writing, Drawing
Photography	Dance

While exploring their talents and creativity, young people learn valuable
life skills:

We Believe...
All youth are precious resources. By helping young people to channel their energy and creativity, we can help the community to see youth as resources, rather than "the problem".

Creativity is a valuable tool in problem solving, goal setting, and coping with difficult situations. It is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. Creativity is emphasized in every program activity.

We know we are successful when youth participants...

• Become more resilient and be able to cope with and
  overcome challenges;
• Learn to use new tools and skills to succeed academically, professionally, and personally;
• Feel a sense of belonging and positive attachment to their
  schools and communities;
• Become healthier, more productive, and caring citizens.
